Surprise surprise! Look at what the cat dragged in.
I promised I'd have something to show eventually. If I didn't, well, I sure did now! We've been in the process of making cool little trinkets to hand out or post around in person. In this process, I created my own CMYK design to help burn through our printer's current ink cartridges! This self-portrait-caricature may not catch the full scope of my lovely defined forehead, but it does give The Simpson's storyboarders a template design for whenever I star for a cameo.
If you're just DYING to have some stickers for your own tagging purposes (for use on PCs, record crates, water bottles, or your boss' grumpy face that desires a glow-up), please reach out to me at joule@olivepatch.art! We intend to add these to the Bandcamp Merch page eventually, but need to finish at least a set of 5 to make it worth your postage efforts. If you can't wait until then, I'll see what I can work out ;) .
Know that these efforts are entirely D.I.Y. as per our strongest inspirations in art. While we are not pounding and refining wood pulp for paper, or harvesting and baking oil for ink, we are using the tools and machines at our hands to simplify our process to a degree that we minimize any intentionally caused labor to some random company that underpays and overworks its employees. Thus, we can make things for fun!
In other news... we're approaching the deadline for the Define Blood EP release (*gasp!*). All mixes are damn-near final, we are merely gearing up to film a video to coincide. This time, we're working with two fewer minutes than "The Some of Us" per my attempt at making a 'single edit' - may filming efforts be less spur-of-the-moment (regardless of its sometimes unintentional charm).
