Volume Warning
Well, it's that time of the year again! I experienced what I can only describe as my first old-person-back-pain earlier this month, which can only mean that I desperately need to bring my damn bike up from family storage. Kyphosis is a bitch, one that I don't tend to fight as much as I need to.
In the halfway point of the year, I'm happy to finally see stuff release to the public. I'd love it to graze (or should I mean 'grace'?) the ears of more people, though I will state again, self-advertisement is not much of my forte. I may have teased playing live earlier this year, but to be honest, there's not much going on in clubs this year, nor is there much of a suggested path for my introduction to the sphere. I will indeed keep trying, as well as improve my presence on stage to give you a good show :)
Unfortunately, this blog post got severely delayed this month due to a water leak in my room/studio/office/whatever that has had us cycling through much of our collection of games, books, comics, and movies next to a dehumidifier in the living room to mitigate as much damage as possible. Thankfully, I believe we saved to the most important items from complete doom, and my instruments in the nearby vicinity were high enough off the ground to avoid any immediate damage (time will tell otherwise...).
To this, I must say: Thank you, landlords, for not only leaving a single layer of bare styrofoam between the foundation of this house and pourus dirt, but also hiring people for pennies to tear it up with weedwackers and spray chemical weed-killers so that it may seep its way into the room I spend a large portion of my working time in. We've yet to officially determine if the moisture has been present long enough to develop a mold (or if the kind landlords will front the bill for this investigation), but at least we know why we've been seeing more bugs lately!
Now, about that Army of Darkness vs. Re-Animator comic ... Not enough Herbert West! It was a bit confusing, overall, with no real climax.
